Soccer Ball Car Newtown Youth & Family Services Fundraiser – New York Red Bulls

July 30, 2015 – Soccer Ball Car was proud to participate in the first ever soccer match at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, CT. Proceeds of this fundraiser match between New York Red Bulls II and Newtown Pride FC benefited Newtown Youth & Family Services.

The weather couldn’t stop passionate soccer and video game fans from crowding around Soccer Ball Car as we set up for the Fan Fest interactive fan zone. As the rain stopped, fans reached for the Xbox One controllers in our video gaming station to challenge each other in a game of EA Sports FIFA 15.

The New York Red Bulls Street Team, a freestyle soccer team, got the crowd pumping with their skills demonstration and music show.

The first-ever soccer match at Harbor Yard was a thriller. New York Red Bulls II defeated Newtown Pride FC 5-1 in what was a perfect family soccer night for a great cause.
